THE FRAUD (Mat.27. 3-10) 
(Sviket) 

But Judas often turns his head away 
from the brothers, often casts his eyes down. 
An undone act waits for him somewhere 
and fills his heart with an obscure dread. 

For every time the blind fate clasps 
the crown of thorns round his name. 
Soon will his feet tread a breezy dance 
and his body will offer itself to vultures and ravens. 

Soon it will happen. Determined from eternity 
is the order of the teacher: do it quick. 
And so - holy thursday - he goes away 
to the fraudīs dishonourable place of salvation.
